[ddots-l] Re: FW 1884 question

Neville wrote: Thanks much where did you get this current information?

Phil replied: I learned the EQ info by playing around with the FW1884's EQ
controls and trying
things like pressing various key combinations then, checking inside the EQ to
see what I had enabled
disabled etc. I also got a few possible hints to look at those keystrokes by
listening to a
representative from Tascam technical support on the phone with Herman, trying
to work out how to use
the FW1884 in Sonar . I have to say that's one of the funniest phone calls I
have ever had the
pleasure of listening too. Just as well that I was on mute, LOL!! Turns out
that us Tascam users
know more than Tascam technical support do with regard to accessing the FW1884
in Sonar, right
Herman? All other useful hints and tips, such as moving between the track/buss
view, I gleaned from
the FW1884 master, Sean Cummins. Naturally, I passed all of this stuff that I
had discovered about
using the EQ, on to Sean. It's a good exchange really. Finally, I mustn't
forget to mention the
above-mentioned Herman crazy fermin, who has been helpful with a few technical
issues, with regard
to using the Tascam FW1884.
