I thought
the manual said that the EQ had to be in the affects bin in order for the Q
frequency and gain nobs on the Taskam to work.
Phil replied: all of the instructions with regard to using the EQ in the FW1884
are totally out of
date. They were written for Sonar 2.2 and things have somewhat altered with
regard to accessing the
EQ on the FW1884 since then. speaking of which, here's another nugget for you.
To move between
control in the track and bus view: do the following:
To move the FW1884 into the buss view so that you can control EQ, pans and buss
output levels ec,
pres set and bank right. To move back to the track view to control EQ etc,
press the key
combination Set and bank left. Note: remember that in order to use the EQ in
the buss view, you
will have to press one of the select buttons for the buss in question. Also,
if you have more than
8 busses then, you will need to press the bank right key, in order to get to
those busses.
