So I got the impression that automation worked in real-time but,I adjusted wanted a lot of reverb on one note. So I first put reverb on the master bus for the whole project, then went to the vocal track and moved to the note I wanted the note on. Next I enabled audio-write, then hit I to get into the inspector pain. I arrowed up to affects and right-clicked, selected Pantheon, put the setting on big room hit alt-F4, hit play then because that reverb note was the last note in the song let it play all the way through. When I turned everything off and replayed the song the whole vocal part was in the large hall reverb, rather than just the last note.
Is there a way to deaden all affect until a certain point? OK, this is kind of a very newbish question, where is the "Extended DELETE" key?I tried the normal delete key right under the insert key, but that didn't work... Is there a trick to it?Thanks, Brandon Keith Check out MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/brandonkeithcom Also add me on facebook! brandonkeith -------------------------------------------------- From: "Brandon Keith" <brandonboy13@xxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, November 24, 2010 10:58 PM To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Editing Questions?Thank you!I will try the snap-shot next time, but now I just did what I said and the volume says that it's changing, I can't hear it, but on other speakers I will be able to hear it. Now time to learn about nudging! (unless there is a plugin or something that can be used to flatten the voice a quarter tone or so without making the voice sound mechanical?)Thanks! Is this possible? I tried hitting enter and changing it really fast, but it didn't work as fast as I wanted it.yep it's possible.you don't have to automate while in playback.
