Hello,
When I record audio tracks with either a mic or electric guitar the audio
playback is horrible. It's very choppy with constant clicking, out of phase
with respect to the metronome and I only hear audio in one channel. When ai
monitor with headphones while recording it sounds reasonably crisp and I can
hear it in both ears.
I've tried increasing the I/O buffer from 128 to 256 and finally to 512 but it
makes no difference.
Indicative of possibly the same problem is that I have my input gain nearly
maxed out while I record but I still hear the clicking and single-channel
phenomena during playback even when I turn the gain way down during recording.
I did have some trouble getting the Edirol configured with Sonar using the Wave
Profiler. After about a dozen attempts it finally just started working and not
complaining about driver incompatibility or being used by another program. So
I'm wondering if someone can give me a checklist of Sonar 6 audio settings,
especially pertaining to the Edirol FA66? Thanks in advance.
