what is this 3gb switch that you need to put in to your boot.ini file, and
where does it get inserted?
Could be the reason as to why I am having problems with the presonus card.

playback and more.
Hello:
Are you using a separate hd for audio? Have you made sure that you don't
have a lot of stuff loading at startup? I assume you are using the internal
sound card for jaws. Have you put the 3gb switch into your boot.ini file?
Does your video card share ram? This may be the case if you are using an
onboard video card rather than a separate agp card with its own ram. Have you
set your page file to one constant value for minimu and maximum? Have you set
your visual effects for best performance? Have you enabled the multi processor
engine in Sonar?
