[ddots-l] Re: Dropouts Glitches and pops during recording and playback and more.

Hello:
Are you using a separate hd for audio? Have you made sure that you don't have
a lot of stuff loading at startup? I assume you are using the internal sound
card for jaws. Have you put the 3gb switch into your boot.ini file? Does your
video card share ram? This may be the case if you are using an onboard video
card rather than a separate agp card with its own ram. Have you set your page
file to one constant value for minimu and maximum? Have you set your visual
effects for best performance? Have you enabled the multi processor engine in
Sonar?

and more.

  Hi all,

I am having lots of problems with sonar and my new PC system.

Even when I am not in recording or playback, wile wondering at the keyboard
the sound disappears and does not come back till I press the space key 2 times

I use asio drivers and I know there is one mor in sonar but I could not dare
changing it not to get into bigger problems.
