Brian, Yes, good that you solved it. However the important point is that it is easy to do with a laptop, since there are Ctrl Alt arrow commands to do it. You need to follow Dan's directions to disable that capability to rotate, so you don't get caught again. Thank you... My screen had gotten rotated... ----- Original Message ----- From: Farfar Carlson To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, October 05, 2010 12:00 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Display Resolution for Sonar Well, you can ignore the JAWS complaint, although I've not seen that one. My settings are 1024 x 768, and JAWS never complains. What version of JAWS? The optamum screen resolution os 1280 by 800. I've actually been seeing this for a while, but it hasn't been effecting sonar until now when I opened it up today... ----- Original Message ----- From: Farfar Carlson To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, October 05, 2010 11:48 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Display Resolution for Sonar Yes, I'd recommend you first do a reboot now just to see where your display settings are. Have you changed your monitor recently? Strange that your settings would have changed. Or are you running a different application that requires a different resolution? Do you have to shut down your computer for it to take effect in sonar... Actually when I first went in to the display settings, it looked like it was set to that setting, but when I went in to sonar said I had the incorrect setting, that it needed to be 1024, but it said mine was at 768. Don't know what to do ----- Original Message ----- From: Farfar Carlson To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, October 05, 2010 11:40 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: (No Date: Tue, 5 Oct 2010 11:00:38 -0400 Brian, Then you need to set your display setting to 33%. That should do it.
