[ddots-l] Re: Designating my new hard drive

Jim:
Wouldn't the audio have been on your old E drive? When you replaced it, were
you able to get the data off of it? If you didn't you won't be able to access
your projects. I hope you still have the other drive. If you do, you may
either need to connect it in addition to your new drive, or get a stand alone
firewire/usb enclosure for it.

Gordon, I've started copying and pasting projects from the C drive to the E
drive, I've not done any audio as of yet but the midi projects that I've done
play fine. I've not changed any of the folder paths and yes, the new drive is
E just as the original. Thanks

    Jim:
Did you copy all the data from your old drive onto the new dirve, with the
original folder paths intact? Is the drive letter the same as it was for your
old drive?

Hello all, I had my E drive replaced and don't know how to designate the
new drive for my Sonar materials. I assume that this is why when I opened a
project I recorded with audio I got a message stating something to the affect
that audio is missing. I hope I'm making some sense to somebody and some one
can help. Thanks
