Hello:
If you want to be sure that you do not truncate any reverb tails or other
instruments ringing out at the end of your song, you'll need to set your end
point beyond the last note. Usually what I do is while still in sonar
before exporting, I select from the last note to the end, then select all
the tracks (control enter three times if you're using ct) and then hit
delete. THen, when you are exporting, select all the tracks and select from
the beginning to a bar or so beyond the endpoint, depending on the length of
rever decays and other sustaining sounds.

Hi.
I have an Idea.
make sure that every thing is audio. If you have Midi, then convert it.
now go to the last sound you hear and stop with ctrl+space.
then select all, menu edit, select, select all.
now press f10 and ctrl+f9 to select first the nowtime as the and time
and the begining to the first bar.
now export your project and it will be a wav file wich ends at the last
heared sound with out the emtpy space you found in the project.
Regards, Robert.

Hi guys! Correct me if I'm wrong, okay? A song with midi and audio tracks
ends. But there is still about 8 bars after the ending. I press Control
Space at the last emitted sound to set the Now time. I then hold shift and
press END 3 times to select from the Now time to the end of the tracks. I
then press Control Delete to bring up the delete dialog and make sure that
WHOLE is checked and proceed to Okay. But the space is still there. Could
an archived track be causing this to happen? I have inserted a synth and
played notes to fill in the gap, tried to delete, but this didn't work. I
recall something about this in an earlier post. Got any ideas? Oh, I do
have hidden tracks as well, but I assumed that selecting all tracks would
include these hidden ones as well. Thanks. S.B.
