Here's a notice from a recent newsletter of MENC, the Music Educators
National Conference.  Dancing Dots will be exhibiting at the MENC National
Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, next April.  If you're studying music in
school in the U.S., chances are very good that your music teacher is a
member of MENC.

 

We invite all qualified students to apply, especially those of you who are
using products from Dancing Dots to create your printed compositions.  If
you do decide to apply, do let me know.

STUDENT OPPORTUNITY: MENC STUDENT COMPOSITION TALENT SEARCH  DEADLINE
OCTOBER 31  MENC will select up to 22 student com    positions to feature
in performance at the 60th MENC National Biennial In-Service Conference in
Salt Lake City, Utah, April 19-23, 2006. Selected compositions will be the
best representative works from MENCs six divisions in each of the following

levels: elementary/middle school, high school, and undergraduate/graduate
school. Any student (K-Grad) of an MENC member or any MENC collegiate member
