Well, you could, while in playback, hit F7 at the beginning of the
section to designate the from time and F8 at the end, independent of
where they appear on the time ruler. Or is it F9 and F10 to set and
F7 and F8 to go to, it's been a while. Anyway, there is a way using
the keyboard to set your from and through times without reference to the MBT.

Luis,
I know I've used the punch feature, when there was a definite ending
"through" mark, but my question is, is there a way to punch in from
just before I made the mistake, to an indefinite ending? If I punch
in an area between the beginning and the end, I'm concerned that the
timing after the punch-in would be a bit off, because the error may
have taken up added timing.
