[ddots-l] Re: Correcting Errors without the metronome

it is actually a very easy procedure once you practice it a few times.
this is used to create a tempo map so the metronome will follow your
recording.
1.-open a new midi track and assign a percussive sound, i suggest a
woodblock.
2.-play the beats as you want the metronome to sound. note: play it without
listening to sonar's metronome and be sure to play as close to the recording
as possible.
3.-be sure also that you don't have any other midi event in this track but
the notes you want, and it is very important that the first note in your
track is at measure 1 beat 1 tick 0.
you can punch in as many times as needed but after you finish recording you
have to select the track from begining to end and from the edit menu select
bounce to clips.
4.-then be sure your track is selected and from the process menu select fit
improvisation.
5.-turn on sonar's metronome and listen to it with your original recording
and they should go in sync.
