[ddots-l] Re: Clarification on Corrections without Metronome

Hi,

An alternative approach would be as follows:

1 - Delete the recorded material that you don't like;

2 - Make sure that you're in sound on sound mode;

3 - Position yourself at a suitable point so that you can hear some lead-in
material and press Record.

Sound on sound will mean that you don't need to worry about over-writing
anything, but you'll be able to record forever.

Thinking about it, it might be simpler and even safer to do this:

1 - Delete the offending material;

2 - Clone the track that you've been working on, but uncheck the box for
events within the track;

3 - Record your new take on the new track;

4 - If you wish, bounce the two tracks that contain your finished recording
to a single track (this would make mixing a little simpler).

Best wishes.
