[ddots-l] Can't Sonar import .aif files?

Guys,
        I have some .aif files that I can't import into Sonar 5.  I get
a message saying "no combination of filters could be found to render the
stream."  I have the same problem with Sonar 3 on my laptop.  .aif is a
file format shown as available under import but I can'T seem to import
these files.  What am I doing wrong?
