As far as I'm aware the dll for CT isn't 64 bit yet...

Besides, I don't know if JAWS works 64 bit yet either!

Subject: [ddots-l] CakeTalking in a 64 bit system

Hello,

My name is Erik Bryndahl and I live in Sweden. I'm new on this list and I'm
amazed to see how many people there are out there working with the same
things I am.

I'm just about to install Sonar and CakeTalking in a system of Windows 7 64
bit.

My question is wich wersion of Sonar is needed and is it possible to install
it 64 bit?
another question I have is if the CakeTalking scripts are available in a
version that is compatible with Windows 7 64 bit?

Regards

Erik Bryndahl

I don't think so, I'm already looking into that, it does work with the
other
bit bridge-like program that sonar supports, I forget the name right now.
Not sure if they've fixed it yet, but last I heard sd didn't work properly
with the cakewalk bit bridge; I think I read somewhere that sonar78.5.1
fixed this issue though. If you don't have 8.5 you can perhaps use the
other
bit bridge-like program, maybe somebody else can chime in with the correct
name for the program... Or maybe toontrack will release a x64 bit version.
Hmm actually, not sure if version 2.2 makes this leap already...

Hi all. Do anyone of you know if superior drummer will work in a 64 bit
environment? Let's say I use a 64 operating system with sonar 32 bit. Will
sd work?
Kind regards
