Dear Richard and All CakeTalking for SONAR 8.5 Customers,
David Pinto, CakeTalking's developer, has made further improvements to
ensure easy navigation through the Synthe Rack view of CakeTalking 8.5 under
certain rare but possible circumstances. Please update to this version and
let us know if things improve for you.
Anyone who already has CakeTalking 8.5 installed must do the following to
update at no cost to the latest update release
Close all programs.
Start Menu
programs
CakeTalking for SONAR 8.5
CTWebUpdate
Provided that your machine is online, the CTWebUpdate utility should allow
you to update to the latest version of CT 8.5 which is 8.5.34.

Close all programs.
Start Menu
programs
CakeTalking for SONAR 8.5
CTWebUpdate
Provided that your machine is online, the CTWebUpdate utility should tell
you if you have the latest version of CT 8.5 which is 8.5.33.
Of course, if you already have CT 8.5.33, then there is another problem.
But I do know that David Pinto, CakeTalking's developer, did a lot of work
in this version to work around some serious bugs in SONAR itself with regard
to navigating through the Synthe Rack view.

Even if I press f6 there is no way to get focus on the synth rack view.
I work with sonar 8.5 ct 8.5 and xp.
