Well, you could always do what a friend of mine is doing--get a session drummer in for the day, lock the thing on record, sit him behind some MIDI drums, and let him get to work drumming whatever comes into his head. At the end of the day, you've probably got your own library, all you hafta do is piece it together and package it! This is exactly how many friends of mine in the biz got their horn samples back in the 80's. Stick a musician in a booth or session room, mike him up good, turn on the recorder with lots and lots of free disk space, then go out for the day and don't give it another thought. When you come back, you'll have everything you need in terms of samples. PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
