What version of Sonar are you using? -----Original Message----- From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Robert Hall Sent: Tuesday, May 04, 2010 5:33 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Blocked When I say nothing, I mean nothing useful. For example: You can't select, you can't get track info once you move to it using control plus track (I.e.) 1,2,3, 4. You catch my drift? You can't even delete them! or move them to another template if you can't select them. The last four of these tracks were created through the bounce to track process. Here's an outline of how the project was assembled: I used a string quartette template for my strings tracks: then I inserted the other audio tracks as needed. The song only consists of nine audio tracks, they are as follows: track 1. Electric Bass, 2. Piano layered with strings, 3. Cymbals, 4. Cello, 5. Viola, 6. Violin 2, 7. Violin 1, 8. Flute and 9. Lead vocals. Now the only tracks that can be manipulated are tracks 4-8. If you didn't clone them, you have to assign the correct inputs and outputs. What exactly do you mean when you say you "can't do anything with.... I added the last four tracks, but the only ones I can do anything with now, are tracks five through eight. I guess the problem might be that because it is a template: I won't be permitted to go outside the allotted tracks, which I didn't think would turn out to be a problem, since in Sonar: you can always ad the extra tracks needed. Or, have you created a track folder by accident? -----Original Message----- From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Robert Hall Sent: Tuesday, May 04, 2010 2:43 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Blocked Hi guys: I'm using the sixteen track audio template of Sonar to mix a project, there was only nine tracks before I performed three bounce to track: to get a grand total of twelve! hmmm!'not too many tracks right? Now Sonar won't let me arrow down beyond track eight before wrapping up to track five, why track five instead of track one? another puzzle, anyway! tracks nine through twelve will not allow CT to do anything with those tracks other than go to them via control plus its number on the num-pad. Anyone with experiences to shed a little light on this one? please share. Robert.
