[ddots-l] Re: Audio snap feature of CT

Glad you like it. Thank David Pinto, the developer, who has worked tirelessly to make CT6 a great program. We really have a winner here.

Gordon,

For some reason, after doing a re-install of sonar6 & CT, it works now.

BTW: this looks like a great tool for audio work. DancingDots did a great job with CT6 in my opinion.

I'll look into it. Is this a sonar keystroke? If it is, there may be a conflict with ct. Try a jaws pass through (jaws insert 3) then press P, see if that works as it should.

In the audio snap dialog of CT, you're supposed to be able to audition each beat or transient by pressing the letter P. I get nothing when pressing P. I can move back and forth through the transient markers with shift page up and page down, and then press space bar to verify that playback is indeed starting at a different beat, but pressing the audition key (letter P) doesn't perform.

This reminds me of the loop explorer where you have to set an output device for audition playback. I wonder if there's something similar going on here.

Any suggestions?

BTW: you really can quantize audio with audio snap--its really slick.
