[ddots-l] Re: And now my midi is clipping

hmm, not playing certain notes suggests you might be running out of poliphony. Can you adjust that?

Also, its not only clipping but it overloads and won't let me play certain notes. It was fine before and I played mre notes and more instruments but not any more. My computer might be slowing donw perhaps, but that would be annoying as I only formatted it just under a year ago, and don't want to start that over again.

David:
You'll have to remind us what sound card you are using, and what do you have the latency set at.

What is going on now? I'm trying to record an album and it appears to be cursed. I'm trying to record the midi parts as backing tracks for someone to play drums to and all I have loaded is the edirol orchestral softsynth and the hypacanvas and its clipping and dropping out for brief moments at certain places. I can't think why! I've tried changing drivers back to wdm from asio but of course that's not working. Today is a dark day for me (not in the physical sense because that's obvious; I'm blind, but in the very real sense of the term). Help me and I will be your friend, and that's a good thing!
