bryan, are there any decent orchestra packs for the motif es? Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: Bryan Smart To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, August 16, 2010 12:54 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Akai samples Yes, but the Motif can be upgraded. DSF has Studio Orchestra for the Motif XS, DCP Productions has an orchestral expansion also, and Gariton will have a 2GB version of Personal Orchestra for the new Motif XF's flash memory. Also, I play on a Roland AT-90 console organ at my church that has some halfway decent stuff in it as well. I'm extremely fortunate to have one of those puppies at home, thanks to the church and others; I received it as a gift for my tenure as Church Organist. Perhaps I should send some stuff along at some point so you can hear it. I agree with you that hardware synths aren't really adequate to get nice sounding orchestral sounds. PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
