[ddots-l] Adding an extra measure at the end of your project

Hello all, I created a project and wanted to add an extra measure at the end of 
the project, I selected the recorded tracks, alt plus i, went to measures and 
can't remember the other thing it said, but when I selected measure and entered 
to okay it, their was no extra measure added.  Am I doing this the correct way?
