maybe you have input echo enabled on the vst synth track.
did you check the many options in the options/project options/ metronome 
tab?

Hello/
when i select vst  instrument,for example super wave p8 and nekst select sfz 
player the vst instrument play even when i play on sfz track.
And my nekst question,the metronum click not working when i starting first 
time sonar ,when i click r jaws speak "record".
I must click 3 times and nekst 3 times to hear metronum. is this normal?
