Yes, the Clarks are WONDERFUL!!!
I am in a bit of shock...Larry has been a mentor to me in so many ways! He
introduced to me to the Lighthouse Board and has been such a excellent role
model to me. He will be greatly missed.

Thanks Steve. I always enjoyed spending time at camp with the Clarks. He
will be missed. They were part the original DBMAT members. I always looked
up to him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Hi DBMAT community. This morning I pass on the sad news that Larry Clarke
died Saturday morning. The Clarkes (Larry, Evelyn, and daughter Stephanie)
have been regular attendees at our annual meeting since before my time. I
always enjoyed talking to Larry because he had a great outlook on life,
excellent sense of humor, and a willingness to help. I appreciated his
outlook based on his years of real world experience. Larry and Evelyn
Clark have been hardworking, loving, and stalwart members of the DBMAT
community since it started. Their son Michael is a long time resident of
the Lighthouse for the Blind in Houston. Information about the memorial and
visitation is in the note from Evelyn below. Steve
I want to let you know that Larry passed into the arms of his Heavenly
Father early Saturday morning, May 14th. He was gently held by daughter,
Stephanie, during the final hours, which eased his pain. He was a wonderful
husband and father and is greatly loved by all of us. Michael will,
especially, have a void that can be filled only by his dad, whom he adored.
A visitation will be held at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, on I 10 West, on
Wednesday, May 18, from 4-7 pm. A memorial service will be held on
Thursday, May 19, at 11 am, at Memorial Drive Christian Church, 11750
Memorial Dr., between Piney Point Dr. and Bunker Hill Dr. The service will
be followed by a reception. Interment will be at 3 pm at Memorial Oaks
Cemetery, 13001 Katy Frwy. 77079.
I would appreciate you sharing our news with the DBMAT community.
