[dbdoclet] Support for proxy?

I'm running dbdoclet 0.63.0 as an ant task. I've used <setproxy/> to
establish a proxy, but dbdoclet is still trying to reach out directly
onto the web (and falling over because of my VPN connection).
Shouldn't dbdoclet use the proxy provided by ant? Is there some other
way to get it to use a proxy?
Be seeing you,
norm
