Draft Blind Citizens Australia Employment Policy Suite available for comment!
Comments are now welcome on our draft Employment Policy Suite. The draft
Employment Policy Suite includes six parts which focus on
Part 1: Recruitment
Part 2: Transitioning to work and making your way up the career ladder
Part 3: Strategies that enable a person who is blind or vision impaired to be
an effective employee
Part 4: Disability Employment Service providers
Part 5: The Australian Public Service as an employer and
Part 6: The role of the Australian Government in meeting its national and
international obligations
Further work is being done to refine these policies so send in your feedback to
our National Policy Officer Jessica Zammit at jessica.zammit@xxxxxxxxxx or
contact the National Office by Wednesday 30 November 2011.
