I think the opposite is the case: To someone who did not have a 
Windows PC and who wanted to buy a printer for which there were no 
standard drivers, there was no alternative to Gimp-Print, whereas we 
do have a working PostScript driver and some users may not even have 
noticed that it produces poor output in some cases.

Anyway, it does not really matter whether there is more or less 
support than for Gimp-Print. It is clear that there is demand and we 
will be able to find out easily how much demand there is by following 
a similar scheme as for Gimp-Print. I would not mind being proved 
wrong. With a similar amount of funding as I got for Gimp-Print it 
should not be a problem to fund an improved PostScript driver.
