[softwarelist] Windows Vista

David,
Continuing with Vista.
I did install OvPro for Windows on Vista okay initially, but have now
encountered a biggy...

I was activating some Macros and moving their respective button about the
Tool Bars, had to stop, so I did a Save from the Macro window, quit OvPro
and did the other things that had interrupted my work (Visitors).

Came back a while later and attempted to run OvPro and it wouldn't have
any of it... Vista putting up a window that OvPro had gone wrong etc.

I rebooted computer, no change.
I reinstalled OvPro from the last update, the install went okay, but OvPro
still wouldn't run.

I uninstalled OvPro completely, then I reinstalled from the CD (Out of
date), I then updated to a latest version.
No change still wouldn't play.
Tried from a backup, still wouldn't play.

Uninstalled again, then copied my working version from the desktop (XP)
PC, still the same. (Left this try till last for a reason.

Gotta be a Registry CU.

This time of course OvPro wouldn't uninstall for obvious reasons.
So manually dumped all the files.
Then went through the registry and manually removed all references to
Ovpro.

Reinstalled 2.75 from CD, and it ran okay.
Updated with 2.92 27th Jan 2007, runs okay.
Will now reboot and see...

Goody it's still working.
I'll now have to reconfigure everything... Will report again later.
