I did the stuff this AM and got Puppy running okay, but got totally lost
with the emu stuff.
I looked through the PDF how to, but again got lost, I extracted the RO4
ROM from my disk (Twice) but because it's not drag n drop, or a clear
clean file path system... I have absolutely no idea where it might have
been put on either occasion. (The second time I put in what I thought was
the path to the Emu ROM directory, but obviously not).

So it doesn't look as though I shall get OvPro running under Linux by any
means.

To be quite honest about all this, if I was coming to computing with no
previous experience, and someone pushed me at Linux as the way to go, I'd
give up and not bother.

I guess, if asked to put that subjectively and emotionally, I find Linux
to be a great enthusiasts toy to play with, but I couldn't use it for
serious work.
The more I use it the greater the negative side of my ambivalence grows.
Dave

I'll maybe have another go at it later after work, but I'm not enthused at
the prospect.
