But the current /chapter/ seems to be the one displayed at the very top of the window (in Ovation Pro for RISC OS, at least) which seems inconsisient with the current page being that displayed in the middle of the window. I've just had to delete a chapter in the document I'm working on, which is something I don't do very often and has always seemed unpredictable. Having read this thread today, I thought selecting Page > Delete chapter would delete the chapter containing the current page, i.e. chapter x, where the current page number shown in the info pane is x.y. With the greater part of the window showing the first page of chapter 3, the middle of the window is in page 3.1 so that is the current page number shown in the info pane. Yet if any part of the last page of chapter 2 is shown at the top of the page, including even the thick grey line separating that from page 3.1, it is chapter 2 which is offered for deletion. Not a major problem, but in an ideal world I'd have thought the current page and current chapter would be those containing the caret. Admittedly this would mean that the currrent page wouldn't always be visible, but a single press of an arrow key will always bring the caret into view in whichever window has input focus.
