You have a Trinity SmallCaps family member
installed.
Once you deviate from basic four-face families
of fonts, the Bold and Italic switches become
unreliable. Don't use them: select the face
you require explicity from the font menu (or
define a style to do what you need).
Hmm. I haven't installed any fonts - these are
what came with Virtual RiscPC. I have never had
this problem on previous machines. The only
place I can find any fonts is (from memory-
I am writing on a different machine) in
!Boot. Resources.
The Trinity font does have a small capitals
file. Should I simply delete the ones called
small caps?
