I have started using SyncDiscs 1.06 for Windows from a batch file, to back
up a set of directories on a daily basis.
The backup seems to work OK, but I'm a bit puzzled by the use of the -quit
parameter. The documentation suggests that using this will cause
SyncDiscs to exit quietly when the job is done, but I'm finding that it
just opens its window instead. Without -quit, the window opens at the
start of the process, so there seems to be some effect. I was hoping that
with -quit included, the backup would happen totally silently, so that it
could be automated.
Windows XP Pro SP2 (plus all updates).
