I remember exactly the same when I was responsible for backups on
a Racal minicomputer system about 20 years ago. The developers
using the system got very stroppy when my 30 minutes warning
message appeared on their terminal, until we had a major disc
crash and the nearly complete restoration of their work
demonstrated the point :-)
