Hard to say. Over the years people have reported crashes, however they
have not been reproducible - I assume that if the layout of directories
and files is just right then they trigger a bug in SyncDiscs.
Working on that theory, you may find that any change makes the problem
go away, for example adding a file, or removing one, perhaps changing
the size of the wimp slot in the !Run file.
Of course there may be other possible causes, for example the file
system might be crashing.
I would be inclined to enable the log file in SyncDiscs and see if you
can discover when it crashes - although that may not be much help
because when the program crashes not all the data written to the log
file will have been written to disc.
Now if I could get around to making my RISC OS desktop library
available, I could also open source SyncDiscs and someone could sort it
out...
