You have checked that the !Words in Resources has dictionaries that
have content. If you simply run OvnPro, and before doing any clicking
on OPros own !Words, open a new blank document, and immediately menu
over the blank document and click on Misc->Spellcheck->Dictionary...
does the window show any dictionaries? If so, select MainDict and
click Edit. Does it come up with a dictionary edit window, showing
lots of words (it actually tells you how many are in the dictionary,
mine says 77640 words)?
You have hit the nail on the head . The dictionaries in Boot were not as I thought replete with words . Deleting them and restoring from the backed up copy of Dictionary that had been in OPro seems 
to resolved the problem .

Of course it doesn't . I neglected to mentioned that this clicking on !Words was done as part of a reload .
