Really? I must admit I hadn't interpreted the description of "thin" on
page 117 of the manual in quite those stark terms.
This zero width convention is not Ovation specific, it is part of RISC
OS (e.g. Draw), and I suspect the writers of RISC OS followed it from
PostScript.
