Well, FWIW, I add letter in sequence to the name which is often the topic
or receiver, e.g. Petea, Peteb, Petec.
That puts them in order in the folder/directory. Is that not enough?
I'm not as organised as you, many of my letters are in numerical order
letter1, letter2 etc. and then with desktop search you're looking for
any documents that reference a particular subject.
In other words if instead of letters to Mr. Smith you wanted to find
invoices for widgets.
