[softwarelist] Scanning transparencies Epson 1660 RISCOS

Well, I cannot scan transparencies with Iyonix/DPScan with Epson 
Perfection 1660 - the transparency light does not come on.

Have had the scanner for ages - scans OK in normal mode (subject to 
the USB workarounds) but, though it goes through the scan routine - 
progress bar showing scan - there is nothing to view because the light 
does not come on. The usual light stays on and travels over the scan 
platform.

Where should I be looking for the cause of the problem?
