Just for clarification ... are we saying that the RiscOS definitions have been there all along and that they work on some WinXP setups, including mine before I did the Windows reinstall and upgraded to OPW 2.92? Or are we saying that the RiscOS definitions have only reappeared in v2.92?

That's the question.

One obvious possibility is that I have made a mess of things and am distributing the RISC OS definitions in the 2.92 release.

Now experience suggests that if the fault can be mine it usually is. However I've checked a couple of times and it appears that the correct macro definitions are in the release version.

The other possibility is that the macros are coming from somewhere else - a script file that is in an applet or has been put in one of the Autorun folders I have mentioned before.

How complete was your new XP installation? did you format the drive or just reinstall over the old disc contents.

Note that the contents of:

C:\Documents and Settings\David Pilling\Application Data\DavidPilling\OvationPro\AutoRun

take precedence and are not wiped clean by any install/uninstall you do. (as ever replace the initial "David Pilling" with your user name)
