[softwarelist] Re: "Save As" button in OPW 2.92 (17 August 06)

In message <45465A04.7090903@xxxxxxxxxxxx>, Ian A Dunn <i.dunn2@xxxxxxxxxxxx> writes
Having altered the two offered and pressing save I find that on reloading they have returned again to the Risc Os ones :-(

There must be another script file defining macros somewhere.

In the past people have distributed items which contain a !Macros file, which over writes the built in macros.

If I click on the Export button nothing happens rather as nothing happens again if I click on save as or info .

Correct definition is:

{string s;if(export_name(s)) openexportbox(); else beep(0,0,0)}

Can I just confirm that I should be able to overwrite the default/pre existing macros by pressing save and that that should last until the next time I use OP

Yes, it will permanently change the macro definitions (for your user name, not for all users).

As I say above I think you've got another file somewhere that is defining macros.

Where to start looking?

Tell us what is in:

C:\Program Files\DavidPilling\OvationPro\AutoRun

and

C:\Documents and Settings\David Pilling\Application Data\DavidPilling\OvationPro\AutoRun

change "David Pilling" in the second to your user name on XP.
