[softwarelist] Re: Quercus, PDF problems

John - why not go to a printer who uses Ovation on a PC and who has printing
facilities?

We would be happy to give you a quote!

PS I used RiscPCs in my school for nearly 15 years - what amazing machines. On
my retirement, to run our Christian Printing business, I asked for the RiscPCs
- which I hope to use for maths coaching. In 15 years the 'down time' was less
than 5 hours. I have had one power supply go last year. Otherwise nothing else
has ever gone wrong. The kids loved using them right until I retired. They were
installed by John Ballance of Castle and were worth twice what we paid for
them! I have recently put together a planner for the school and used OvatioPro
for the calendar part, Word 2007 for the general information and Acrobat to
bring it all together it was really enjoyable using the different programs. We
usually use Indesign but it couldn't give me the repeating frames in the same
way as OvationPro! We did use Indesign for mail merging the name on the covers.

As you can guess I am a fan of Acorns!

Kind regards
