Please, David, do not stress yourself. You are only human, and facing
an impossible task like getting all the bugs out of something is - well,
impossible.
Software was ever so. I admit many years ago updating a Pascal
compiler to the British standard - having it run for countless students (ie
many thousands of times) for over a year when a colleague dropped in and
said "my xxx program gets the answer wrong". It had about twenty lines of
code and the result when compiled and run was obviously incorrect.
Fortunately I knew exactly where in the compiler code the offending
mistake must have been made - this time a very quick fix - I had typed "<="
when I should have typed ">=" - 'finger trouble'? - who knows!
My colleague was kind enough to say that I shouldn't worry about it.
Having learnt from that, may I say the same to you - don't worry, please -
don't even feel bad!
Like many others I have always been amazed by and grateful for your
unfailing helpfulness and courtesy to those in need.
Keith
