Hi,
I've a number of documents/templates that have been around for years,
and which exhibit problems with pasting text from the global (but not
local) clipboard. Pasted text can appear in the wrong place (not at
the cursor), the wrong text frame, or not at all.
I have spent a few hours trying to track this down- and I can't,
exactly. But I do now have 2 stylesheets, one will not paste into the
main text frame when freshly opened, but the other does. So it seems
to be related to something in the file format, perhaps with documents
first created by older versions of Ovation Pro.
The 2 stylesheets produce apparently identical documents, a binary
comparison reveals minor differences in the bytes however. I can send
these stylesheets if anyone is interested.
Regards
Ewen
PS It would be nice to have mouse scroll wheel support built into
Ovation Pro, without having to use !HID.
