It occurred to me that they may be scanning microfiche or something. So
lets look at that number:
16,899,208
pixels per inch.
The wavelength of visible light is about 500 nanometres which translates
to 50,000 per inch.
An atom is about 0.1 nanometeres which translates to about
250,000,000 per inch
I think they're dud values...
