Lanman98 had notable troubles with Win Vista where the network/security
tie ups were a PITA.

LanMan98 version 2 (Released Oct 2008) has sorted that lot very nicely.

As I've mentioned in an earlier posting, using LM98 V2 after the recent
updates, I've not encounteted any of the problems reported here on either
XP or Vista.

Perhaps those of you with older versions, and those of you without any
version, should contact the gent who has almost everything in stock, for
an Update or New copy.
