Try, running OP, then F12, and

*rmkill universalkey

then return, back to OP, and type.
Just out of interest. You run OP, type, the letters come out all wrong. So mark the text and export it to Edit (sale selection, drag and drop whatever). Does the text still look wrong in Edit?
