Whilst processing a manual yesterday which consisted of 290 pages of
draw files I ran out of memory in OvPro after about 50 pages.
Not a real problem as I just used more documents of 50 pages each.
However I have loads of memory free on my Iyonix so to increase the
amount available to OvPro is it as simple as increasing the Wimpslot
in the !Run file or is it not possible to allocate more memory to
OvPro.
wimpslot in !Run has nothing to do with how much memory there is
available for documents.
I would be inclined to look at the task manager and see what is going on
with OP's dynamic area slot - how big is it, and while you're looking at
the task manager how much free memory is there.
Back to the dynamic area saga, there are utilities around that limit the
max size to prevent the address problems - so if you've used one of
those it may explain things.
I suppose you might be running OP under aemulor in some sort of 26 bit
mode where it can't use dynamic areas and in that situation the 32MB
task slot limit applies.
