What I like about DDL is that other programs can (or could) generate output
in DDL form, for example one might be able to generate reports out of a
database system as DDL files, then a user could define how they wanted
various styles used in that report to look.

I indeed have several RiscOS-based programs that do precisely that and David has been kind enough during their development not only to fix obscure bugs but also to enhance certain features relating to DDL output. I doubt I could have had that level of support from many other suppliers.

I have had Ovation since it was first launched and always purchased upgrades - including the Windows version although I rarely use it. I intend to use RiscOS for my own software and for Ovation Pro for as long as I possibly can. If further Ovation Pro upgrades become available, I will undoubtedly continue to purchase them.

[Sorry I didn't respond to the original request for contacts but I was away on holiday and wasn't overly keen on ploughing through the 150 or so "software list" e-mails when I came back!]

John Grogan
