Paul, I do not troll.

Yes you were. You distorted a comment about the limitations of Word (which
most will agree on) and expanded it into a RISC OS knocking session.

not, they would still be within the RISC OS market, and David Pilling
would not have to be concerned about the future of OPro (which is the
real topic of this thread).

I thought he was concerned about lack of sales of the PC version - when
numerous people have expressed their support in paying for a RISC OS
version update.

If there is future development and an update to OvPro for RISC OS, I'd be
willing to sponsor a full page advert in RISC OS Now magazine.

Believe what you will Paul.

I know that you mean well and want to do the best for RISC OS. The problem is that you appear to find it difficult to separate truth or reality from conspiracy theories. I watch the discussions between yourself and other people who I consider to be really technical (you are a nice chap Paul, but I don't think that you are as proficient in many things as you think you are) and I see a constant slip-sliding away from points under discussion, ignoring the point that you just lost. This reminds me of someone else who haunts these forums, but I would not put you in HIS league.

The statements that you make about Java in another post are a good example. Major corporations are putting much money into developing major applications in Java, but the truth according to Paul Vigay is that Java has not progressed much beyond applets. You make a point about Java being restricted to a "walled garden", as if this is a bad point. The promoters of Java call this security, something that RISC OS does not have, and this has been attested by some of the most prolific developers in the RISC OS field. There is no point in trying to win people over with arguments like this Paul, as only those who know less than you will be fooled by it.
