Well there was a bug in the PostScript printer drivers, which was only fixed by Robin Watts when he was working for ROSL - so long after Acorn, which resulted in justified printing having a very ragged right edge. That might have discouraged people from using it.
Perhaps the pixel resolution of Windows has made the problem more obvious. 

I do intend adding the fix to the RISC OS version.
